1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the HibiBudget application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

HibiBudget is a personal financial management application that uses the Kakeibo method (Japanese budgeting method) to help users track income, expenses, inter-wallet transfers, monthly budgeting, and obtain AI-based financial insights.

Key features include:

  • Transaction tracking (income, expenses, transfers)
  • Wallet management (debit, credit, cash, e-wallet)
  • Monthly budgeting with Kakeibo system
  • AI Financial Insights (emotion analysis, saving suggestions, chat assistant)
  • Data export to Excel & PDF
  • Reminders & notifications
  • Receipt photo upload
  • Monthly review & dashboard analytics

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must register an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account password
  • All activities occurring under your account
  • Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Subscription Plans & Payments

HibiBudget offers several subscription plans:

  • Free Trial — Full access for the first 3 months at no cost
  • Basic — Basic features with certain limits (up to 3 wallets)
  • Premium — All features including AI Insights
  • Annual — Yearly package at a discounted price

Payments are made via bank transfer or other available payment methods. Approved payments are non-refundable except at our discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You are prohibited from:

  • Using the Service for illegal activities
  • Attempting to access, damage, or interfere with the Service's security systems
  • Uploading harmful content, viruses, or malicious code
  • Using bots, scrapers, or other automated tools without permission
  • Misusing AI features for unintended purposes
  • Creating fake accounts or using another person's identity

6. Financial Data

HibiBudget stores financial data that you manually enter into the application. We do not have access to your bank accounts or perform financial transactions on your behalf.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. We are not liable for financial decisions made based on information or advice from the Service, including those generated by AI Insights.

7. AI Insights & Disclaimer

The AI Insights features (spending emotion analysis, saving suggestions, chat assistant) use third-party AI models (OpenAI GPT-4o-mini) to generate insights. Please note that:

  • AI analysis results are informational and not professional financial advice
  • Accuracy of insights may vary and is not always perfect
  • You should not rely on AI Insights as the sole basis for financial decision-making
  • Consult a financial professional for important decisions

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, source code, logos, and other materials in the Service are the property of HibiBudget and are protected by copyright law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or sell any part of the Service without written permission from us.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

  • Direct or indirect losses arising from use of the Service
  • Service disruptions, errors, or unavailability
  • Data loss due to system failures
  • Financial decisions made based on information from the Service

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms & Conditions
  • There is suspicious activity or misuse of the Service
  • At your own request

You may delete your account at any time through profile settings. Account deletion is permanent and all data will be removed.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes shall be resolved through deliberation and, if necessary, through the competent courts in Indonesia.
